The ASSEA Team is fundraising to.support this great program where emerging indigenous leafers can thrive.
Support the Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF) to deliver its five programs across Australia focused on running and physical literacy built on the premise that:
- Every session builds resilience.
- Every kilometre or activity builds confidence.
- Every participant learns leadership skills.
- Every step forward is about developing leaders and role models.
Too many First Nations peoples are still facing serious health challenges and reduced life expectancy — and we know change is possible. At the Indigenous Marathon Foundation, they use the power of running as a vehicle to develop and nurture First Nations leaders who model resilience, healthy living, discipline, and create ripple effects of long-term change.
Please help me support IMF by donating to my page.

True courage
Friday 28th Aug I was so inspired after watching the Long Run which tells the story about the work of the Indigenous Marathon Foundation. With Jonathon Thurston and Buddy Franklin joining a group of indigenous people training for 6 months with the hope to get a ticket to the New York Marathon. The true story is about courage, trust and belief, with new leaders across First Nations communities. I hope what ever our team can raise will allow this opportunity to continue for these amazing people.Thank you to my Sponsors
